WARS, FLAGS, AND VICTORY!

What does it mean for the Lord to be our Banner (Jehovah Nissi)?

Imagine being a soldier and going to war in, and under, and WITH the name of the MOST powerful ruler.

There is no name greater than the name of Jesus!

We lift up the name of Jesus and the enemy flees! They are subject to the spiritual laws, and it’s HIS name that is highest! His victory belongs to us because we are in Him!

Every person waving the banner (flag), every person under it, and every territory they march on, is marked for the Lord!

Wave it over your situations, and over your family. Shout in victory! Remind the enemy of his defeat. Now we can understand the use of flags in worship.

And not only do we fight with His name, but it’s a place for us to CONTINUALLY dwell and find immediate protection.

Jesus is Lord! Believe!

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭18:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:9-11‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”
‭‭Colossians‬ ‭2:13-15‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“And do not [for a moment] be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such [constancy and fearlessness] will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of [their impending] destruction, but [a sure token and evidence] of your deliverance and salvation, and that from God.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:28‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

“Then came Amalek [descendants of Esau] and fought with Israel at Rephidim. And Moses said to Joshua, Choose us out men and go out, fight with Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand. So Joshua did as Moses said and fought with Amalek; and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the hilltop. When Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed; and when he lowered his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses’ hands were heavy and grew weary. So [the other men] took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Then Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side and one on the other side; so his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua mowed down and disabled Amalek and his people with the sword. And the Lord said to Moses, Write this for a memorial in the book and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens. [I Sam. 15:2-8.] And Moses built an altar and called the name of it, The Lord is my Banner;”
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭17:8-15‬ ‭AMPC‬‬
